Ahhhh Spring
No politics today. It was too nice of a spring day.
I love springtime in Minnesota. I love springtime period! The weather has been nice enough that I actually got out and did a little planting today. Nothing big - I started the first of 2 herb pots and I got a couple of hanging pots planted with pansies and violas. I got the weed and feed out in the front and side yards (we have a corner lot) yesterday and I got some grass seed down in the back yard (repairing damage done by the dog). The rose bushes are unmulched and are showing the first signs of green and leaves. The trees are all in decent shape so we don't have to do much there.
For those who are curious - I have oregano, Basil (two kinds so far Spicy Globe and Purple Ruffles), Sage and Rosemary. I will plant a couple of hot peppers again, probably some Dill and another kind of Basil (I LOVE fresh Basil in salads) and at least another Rosemary plant. We use a lot of fresh herbs when we grill!
So that was how I spent my blogging time today. More tomorrow....it's supposed to rain.
