Things Than Make You Go Hmmmmmmmm
I remember once upon a time, when a certain President was run through the ringer for firing federal at will employees. His opponents were in high dudgeon over the fact that the President had the AUDACITY to do such a thing. Fast forward a couple of years to now and we have a President firing the CEO of a PRIVATELY HELD COMPANY and the same people who were upset over the firing of federal at will employees are strangely silent. I wonder why that is?????

You do know that Bush fired the CEOs of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? And why not, they screwed up and their operations had to be nationalized.

Fannie and Freddie were NEVER private companies Richard. They were always government run and overseen. Oh and the ones who PROTECTED the CEO's that screwed up Fannie and Freddie were PROTECTED BY Democrats in Congress even though they were known to be screwing up so who do you suppose is more out of line here?
