Insanity!

The New Hampshire Democratic Party joined 9 other states in officially accepting a plank in their party platform that calls for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.

"Delegates to the party's annual convention voted overwhelmingly Saturday in favor of resolutions both censuring Bush and impeaching him because he "has committed high crimes and misdemeanors as he has repeatedly and intentionally violated the United States Constitution and other laws of the United States."

Delegates to last weekends DFL convention in Rochester came close to passing a similar platform plank. They came 7% short of the 60% needed to pass the platform plank.

This is just one more sign that the Democratic Party has completed their slide into total irrevelance! The only platform that the offer the people of the state and of the nation is to play "gotcha" politics. You tried to impeach "our" president, we'll impeach yours" No talk about immigration, the war, how to keep the economy firing, how to deal with the deficit....just censure and impeach! Bitterness has consumed the once noble Democratic Party and left it a hollow shell of greatness. Will it ever recover? Only time will tell, but if the left's reaction to the coalition's removal of the #1 terrorist in Iraq is any indicator....it won't be happening any time soon.
