Something else the UN can (and should) fix
Talk about a human rights violation....
"ELEVEN Pakistani men have been accused of raping a teenager and forcing her to parade naked through her village because a cousin eloped with a young woman from the men's family, police said yesterday.
Such attacks, known as honour crimes, as they are committed in response to a perceived slight on a family's honour, are common in predominantly Muslim Pakistan, especially in rural communities. "
Honor crimes are another common practice in the "Islamic world". What gets to me is that there is no outcry from the usual crowd. They continue to turn a blind eye to legit human rights violations while they loudly protest perceived violations in the US. It truly does make one wonder if they really care about human rights or if they are more concerned with a political agenda.
