Two Americas redux.
A little over a week ago, I wrote about John Edwards and his 28,000 square foot middle class home. Well now he is out there, again, advocating spending someone else's money in order to pay for entitlements.
"We'll have to raise taxes. The only way you can pay for a healthcare plan that cost anywhere from $90 to $120 billion is there has to be a revenue source," Edwards said on NBC's Meet the Press news program."
Now to the former Senator's credit, he is talking about taxing "the rich" in order to pay for universal healthcare. My question, as always, is this....what do you consider "rich"? At what dollar level would you be responsible for this additional tax? Give me an answer to that basic question so that we can start to talk.
