Time flies!

In April 2005, my friend Savage Republican, invited me to join him at Savage Republican thus starting me on this grand adventure that I find myself in now. A little over a year later (June 8, 2006), with Savage Republicabn's able assistance, I started my life here. Then a year ago tomorrow I joined the legions at Townhall.com (my backup site when things get hung up here). In the last 13 months (and 500 some odd posts) we have covered a lot of ground and made a whole lot of new wonderful friends. While the list is rather long, I would like to give a special shout out to AAA at Residual Forces, Mitch at SITD, Michael at MDE, Captain Ed (who is an influence not only in blogging but in how to handle adversity with grace and aplomb), David and Margaret from Our House (who are always ready to laugh), and last but not least the whole crew of minions at Anti-Strib (with a special thanks to Tracy and Sequel for the invite to join the band).

The Minnesota Organization of Bloggers is not just a blogroll, it is a network of the most wonderful people I have ever met and in spite of our occasional political differences I am forever grateful to Savage Republican for the opportunity to become part of this community of amazing people. The last two years have been a blast and I can not wait to see what the future holds.
