Obama/Ayers - CNN Connects The Dots
CNN ran an expose today on the Obama/Ayers connection that sounded awfully familiar - or at least it is to those of us who lived in Chicago or utilize the alternative media.
Many have been trying to get the "mainstream" media to dig into this story for months. It is no surprise to the right then that the first MSM outlet to run this story (talk about an October surprise) is the "Clinton" News Network.
All joking aside, for months now, Senator Obama has insisted that Bill Ayers was just "a guy in the neighborhood" - no one of importance in his life or political career. CNN just shattered that myth in time for the election.

Oh yes. Myth shattered.
CBS poll today has it 52-41, and not for McCain.
This Ayers thing is ridiculously contrived. What's worse is that there are plenty of reasonable lines of attack that could gain McCain ground. This one isn't it, nor was it 3 months ago. Someone is giving McCain some very bad advice, and that he keeps listening to Mr. Davis is obviously means he's not ready to lead. Americans are just not as stupid as McCain/Palin 'o8 (and apparently you) believe them to be. Not realizing that makes McCain his own worst enemy.

Yeah and in 2000 Gore was leading in the polls in early October and in 2004 Kerry was in the same boat. Last summer, Rudy Giuliani was way ahead in the polls last summer (in the Republican Primary) and what happened in all three of those races Jason?
I don't know if the issue is "contrived" or not, but a candidates judgment IS fair game and who he or she hangs out with is a matter of judgment so we shall just have to see, won't we.....
