Cliche
How many cliches and DFL talking points can you fit into one 30 second TV slot? Plenty if you are candidate Coleen Rowley.
She is "outraged" and says that you would be too....IF you were paying attention. She says she is a "former Republican" and then talks about all of the far left things she is in support of. She talks about all of the "scandals in DC" but neglects to mention Harry Reid and William Jefferson.
The ad is cheap and amateurish, but then again that has been the hallmarks of her campaign. That and anger - the anger is visible in her words and her body language. The emotion can't be hidden. Is that what voters of the 2nd District want - someone who makes decisions based on anger? Or raw emotion? I hope not.

What are you blathering about here? The commercial showed no anger whatsoever. Rowley talked about Bush and the current GOP scandals because Bush and the GOP are in power now. Disagreeing with Rowley's views is one thing but the anger accusation is ridiculous and unsupported. Even if there was some truth to it, why shouldn't people be angry over Bush's fiasco in Iraq and with the recent Republican scandals?
Go Colleen!!!!!!

Skipper - do you know what the meaning of the word "outraged" is? Coleen usese the word outrage several times in her ad.
Why isn't she telling us what she will change? Why is her outrage the focus of the ad?

She uses the word "outraged" twice, but is very calm throughout the commercial. If anything, I think she comes off as too calm. I agree that she doesn't say what she would change, but it's just a 30-second commercial. No one provides many specifics in short TV commercials.

The body language is telling as well Skipper...
And take if from someone who has followed Coleen's campaign from DAY ONE....Give her 30 seconds or give her 3 hours...she still won't tell you what she will change! The only thing she will say, the only thing she has EVER said is how outraged she is over how things are going in DC....
