Fairy Tails
Once upon a time, Americans actually thought that we could develope a society where people were not judged on externals like race or religion or socio-economic class. Those days are no more. I say that because John Edwards has already thrown his hat into the Presidental ring and he running on class warfare.
"On the domestic side, Mr. Edwards fares just as badly. He's recycling an old page from the liberal Democratic playbook, saying that he wants to make fighting poverty the great moral issue of our time. He says he'll accomplish this by taxing the rich in order to help the poor."
John Edwards wants the federal government to provide healthcare to every man, woman and child in the country, regardless of the already high budget deficit. He wants to cut taxes to people who already pay no taxes, put up trade barriers with countries that do not engage in "fair labor" practices and he wants to force working citizens to give up their cars in the name of energy independence. Of course if we all do that, we would have to quit working and then how would he pay for the universal health care? Apparently he hasn't thought that out (kinda like his stands on gay marriage). Hopefully, Mr. Kudlow is correct when he states that the Democrats have learned that in order to get elected they have to be Republican lites. If they have then they will reject candidate Edwards. If not (and the jury is still out on that) then it will be a short hiatus for the Republican Party.
